A rare opportunity to purchase one of our Driftwood designs online. Most of our driftwood pieces are sold at our many events throughout the year but because lots of customers have been unable to get to our events or some of the shops and galleries that we supply, I have decided to list a few online...
 
I made my first driftwood design over 30 years ago after seeing someone using driftwood and found ephemera, making spanish buildings and scenes whilst on our honeymoon in Southern Spain. I have always had an interest and an affinity with the British coastline, firstly as a keen amateur photographer so know the Cornwall and Devon coast very well. I wanted to try and use some of the driftwood I had collected to make some typically British seaside houses just for display in our own home. It wasn't long before family and friends asked me to make some for them and that's how it all started.
 
Every one is handmade and unique, with a muted colour palette to enhance the weathered appearance and tactile nature of typical coastline buildings.
 
I do also design one off commissions for that special gift and of course you can see me at many events still throughout the year.
