INSPIRATION
 
Our Nautical Flags Print again, features some of those most recognised symbols of maritime life and history. They are still used occasionally today when normal communications like radio or morse are out of order or not available. Not only used to spell words but a single flag also has a meaning behind it. Also there is a set number of flags used for other purposes, for example using four flags is used mostly got geographical signals, names of ships etc and seven flags are used for longtitude signals.
 
PROCESS
All printed on crisp, heavyweight, matt photo paper, with archival inks. They are more resistant to fading but we always recommend to not hang in direct sunlight.
 
HOW TO FRAME
Unless specified, all of the prints are UNFRAMED but are printed in standard sizes, A4 and A3. This makes it much easier to find a frame to suit your needs. There is a white border around each print to allow for the frame recess and for you to add a mount if needed.
 
DELIVERY
A3 size prints are sent wrapped in a cellophane cover inside a postal tube so it will arrive safely. A4 size prints are sent in a cellophane cover in a card backed envelope. First class postage via Royal mail and if you buy more than one print (up to five), there are no extra postage costs.
